DRV8305-Q1EVM evaluation module (EVM) is a DRV8305-Q1 motor gate driver, TMS320F28027 motor control MCU and CSD18540Q5B NexFET power MOSFET 4.4V to 45V, 25A, three-phase motor drive and control system based on. The EVM can be used to evaluate the DRV8305-Q1 with a wide range of test points, interfaces, and configurability.
The EVM has a reverse protection function for onboard batteries, a regulated 3.3V supply provided by the TPS7B6933-Q1 LDO, an interface plug for all control and feedback signals, and an onboard XDS100v2 emulator. The EVM has independent DC bus and phase voltage sensing as well as independent low side current shunt sensing for sensorless BLDC control algorithms. Drive stage is short circuit, overheat, breakdown and under voltage protection, and can be easily configured through SPI interface.
The EVM provides major software support through the use of MotorWare (InstaSPIN-FOC sensorless control solutions), which is well suited for the evaluation and use of DRV8305-Q1 devices for rapid development.
