SIM Card Installation and Device Power-on
3.1 Requirements for SIM Card Selection
●Please use 2G-GSM network SIM card .
●Terminal SIM card should activate caller ID.
●Terminal SIM card should activate GPRS function.
●PIN code of terminal SIM card is in the off state.
3.2 SIM Card Installation
●As per small icon of SIM card, hold SIM card by hand, the chip side is downward and the end with gap is inwards; push the card into the card slot and hear “click”. When the card should be taken out, press the top end of SIM card which is exposed outside the card slot with fingers, and then pop up.
3.3 Device Power-on
●When the device is inserted into the SIM card, the tamper switch should be in the pop-up state, and the blue light flashes to indicate that the device is powered on. Blue light flashing regularly, then the device GPS is working properly.
4、Instruction of Indicator Light
4.1 Blue LED (working state indicator light)
● When the device is working ,The LED flashes.
●Blue work indicator in the equipment work three
minutes after the automatic extinguishing, a
telephone come in or restart the device, the lights
work again after three minutes and then
automatically turn off.
4.2 Red LED (charging state indicator light)
●The LED is not lit in normal times; the LED is
always lit during charging; after being fully charged,
the LED turns green.
FAQ
●When the device is not online and not located, please set up APN parameters of SIM card of the device to make the device work normally. Because different SIM card communication operators in different countries have different APNs, in order to know APN of your SIM card, please consult with local communication operators.
Please edit “apn, network name” using master control number mobile phone, send to SIM card number of the device.
Example: apn,cmwap#
In the example, cmwap stands for APN of China
Mobile operators.
If sets up APN successfully, reply the message
“set up APN successfully”.
●When the mobile phone dials the device, it prompts “The user you dialed is busy now”, it indicates that SIM card of the device can’t identify the number when caller ID is not activated, please activate caller ID for SIM card of the device.
●After setting up the instruction on APP, it always shows sending or failed, the reasons are as follows:
① The place where GPRS network of the device is located doesn't have signal or signal is not good, can't transmit GPRS data.
② SIM card of the device doesn't activate GPRS function, it is suggested that you should activate 30M data monthly plan.
③ The device is on a call, GPRS data transmission is automatically turned off.
④ When the device is in the sleep state, it should dial SIM card number of the device to activate the device operation.
●The device of APP is always off-line.
① SIM card balance of the device is insufficient, can’t transmit data and dial a call.
② The device is not power on or power cut.
③ The device is in the place where there is no signal or signal is very poor (mainly consider that the device data can't be uploaded to the server).
