CP2104 has high integration, built-in USB2.0 full speed function controller, USB transceiver, crystal oscillator, EEPROM and asynchronous serial data bus (UART), support modem full function signal, no need any external USB device. CP2104 is similar to other usb-uart transfer circuits in working principle. The USB port of PC is virtually transformed into COM port by driver program to achieve the purpose of expansion.
